How Long Does It Take?
Depending on the needs of your website and what work we have agreed on an estimate date of completion will be added to your final SEO plan, this will be when the page is ready to be uploaded.
For your websites page to be picked up in the search engines there is no correct answer but I have found that Google can take up to 60days or more to include your page where as Msn and Yahoo show up much faster, usually within 30days but sometimes as soon as 14 weeks after uploading the completed page!
Having incoming links to your website means your sits gets crawled more often, this means the spiders "see" your updated page quicker and can therefore include into the database faster.
What If My Page Is Never Found Or Not High Enough?
If after 2 months your page is not showing up in the top 50 results of Msn or Yahoo or for Google, after 6 months it is not showing up in the top 100 results contact me and I will tweak the SEO to try and get you a higher listing.
I will go through another review of the page with ideas as to why this could be happening, maybe its something as simple as more content being added so that the key phrase has been diluted or that you need to increase the links coming to your site.
If after a further two months this does not improve your ranking I will SEO the page again using a different key phrase with a tighter niche.
This will all be done for free so long as the page has not been
deliberately "tampered" with by you or touched by another SEO company.
What If My Page Drops In The Results?
While fluctuation are normal, especially on Google, if your page continues to drop in the results or vanished completely for more than three continuous months then something needs to be rectified!
If your page has had SEO applied by me less than a 9months ago I will tweak your page for free as above.
If it is more than 9months I will take a look at what could be causing the problems, sending you another report with a plan of action and the best way forward. Generally the solution is to gain more quality, related links to your site over a continued period of time.
Remember...
There is no guarantee with SEO that your pages will appear at or near the top, or that you will have an increase in sales - After all sales comes under marketing!
It is likely that some of your pages will do very well, being found in the top 10-20 of Msn, Yahoo and Google while another page may never do very well.
Lots of things need to be taken into consideration as to why this is but as long as you have a selection of pages doing well, are not "cheating" the search engines and are carrying out a linking strategy I say don't worry about that one little page - Move on to building more quality pages, quality products, and keeping those past customers happy!
